Hi, I'm Soren. I build websites and run the operations around them.
Design, development, project management and the processes that keep a team moving. Everything on this page is hand-built, including the lights.
I fuss over the details so visitors never have to notice them.
Marketing sites, landing pages, event campaigns and small-business rebrands. Type first, plenty of room, nothing that looks like a template.
Lately: a seven-city event tour page, conference launch pages, and a calm new look for a medspa.
I build it by hand, and I build it to be handed over.
WordPress, Elementor, React, PHP and plain JavaScript, wired into HubSpot, Salesforce, ticketing and payments. Editors get guardrails and a guide, not a phone number.
Lately: React pages deployed inside WordPress, registration with tiered pricing and sold-out states, and region-aware pricing for a book sale.
A vague request goes in. A plan, a launch and a write-up come out.
I take projects from an undefined ask through scope, timeline, vendors, launch and reporting, across marketing, events, customer success and leadership. Asana, spreadsheets, and a lot of clear emails.
Lately: ran the operational track for three recurring event programs, standardized how a team runs its projects, and built the KPI reporting senior leadership reads. Before that, large client and nonprofit events planned end to end.
Things break at 4:52 on a Friday. I plan for that.
Written ownership, release and escalation processes, vendor and agency management, cost audits, and data checks across systems that do not talk to each other.
Lately: defined a function from scratch, including its accountability model, release workflow and escalation path. Cut operating costs by auditing platform usage, and owned a membership database and the reporting on top of it.
When a thousand people share one tool, the rules are the design.
I run platforms like products: decide what users can and cannot do, write it down in plain language, ship changes with release notes, and give support the answers before the questions arrive.
Lately: oversaw a self-service microsite platform for roughly 1,000 coaches, plus the 30-page guide and 19-page support playbook behind it.
I use AI every day. I still read everything it writes.
Coding agents for production front ends, instruction sets that carry brand and code standards from one project to the next, and scripted checks across spreadsheets, site code and exports.
Lately: turning one-off requests into repeatable tools, so the second time is always faster than the first.
Say hello.
Have a website that needs looking after, or one that does not exist yet? I would like to hear about it.
